Pancakes (For Alex T.)

Soft and Light
  Or Thin and Sleek
To dream in sweet delight
  Or drown in syrup creek
Before you down them stright
  Mind with whom you dine;
For in Dunbarton you must hate
  Any maple save most pure and fine
In Edgeware you must prepare
  For raspberry crepes, Nutella dressed
Morning, noon, and night I sware
  Mint in hot sweet tea is pressed
Your father's flapjacks
  Flapping off the plate, on the ground
And in a bowl eshewing stacks,
  My own butter oozing volcano mound.
